Indramat made state of the art industrial motion control products from 1958 until 2001 when they ceased to be known as Indramat. Many factories still use drives, controls, and servos with the Indramat stamp despite the fact that Indramat products haven’t been made in nearly two decades. Those components are legacy products today, but that doesn’t mean they are obsolete.
Old but not obsolete
Your Indramat machinery has run reliably for decades, and there’s a good chance there’s still a lot of life left in those servos. Your system is old, but it still gets the job done. There are some options if you’re not quite ready to upgrade to new machinery.
Remanufacturing Indramat products is the best option for those looking to get the most life out of their industrial motion control systems.
Indramat reman
Bosch Rexroth – the company that acquired Indramat – has announced that they will extend servicing through the end of 2020 for remanufacture/reman plus options on Indramat products.
Indramat reman restores your unit to new condition. Remanufactured units meet the same specs as the product when it initially left the manufacturer. Reman includes the replacement of all wearing parts, reservation of repair materials, and retention of repair equipment.
Also, remanufactured units come with a 24 month warranty, and Indramat service extension through the end of 2020
