Which CLM control do I have?
You can find the plate with the firmware information below the keypad on most CLM controls. The Indramat CLM 01.3-X-0-2-0-FW control comes with a removable firmware/program module. This is the easiest way to distinguish the CLM 01.3 series from the CLM 01.2 series of controls. The removable module is located directly below the keypad, whereas there is no removable firmware/program module on the CLM 01.2 series.
CLM 01.3-X-0-2-0-FW Indramat controls are versatile, precise, and reliable. They can control up to four different axes and offer motion control with feed resolution of 0.001 inch. They’re also no longer produced. Indramat stopped production at the turn of the 21st century, and all of the parts and components that will ever bear an Indramat stamp have already been made.
Replace, repair, or reman?
When you need a legacy Indramat component, like a CLM 01.3-X-0-2-0-FW control, you have a few different options. We find that most of our clients prefer to get a factory repair or a remanufacture for their existing unit.
