DDS02.1

Indramat motion control systems changed the game for manufacturers when they were first introduced in 1958. 60 years later, Indramat servos, drives, and controls are still used in factories across the globe. Reliability and longevity are hallmarks of the Indramat brand, and systems that were installed two or three decades ago are still running today. It could be time, however, to service your DDS02.1 drive.

Find the source of the problem

Indramat products rarely fail and rarely need maintenance. Even the highest quality motion control systems occasionally need service, though. If your DDS02.1 fails, you have a few different options.

The first thing that you need to do is determine the source of the problem. An Indramat drive error code does not always indicate a problem with the drive. Bad cables, a dying battery, problem with the motor, and several other issues can trigger Indramat fault codes.

There’s no sense in trying to replace your DDS02.1-W100 drive if the drive is in good working condition. If, however, you discover that there is in fact a problem with your drive, you must either repair or replace your drive.

Repairing and replacing Indramat drives

Indramat factory repair is a cost effective and reliable way to get your system up and running again quickly. Factory repairs are performed by trained technicians at Bosch Rexroth, the company that now owns the Indramat brand. All factory repairs come with a one-year warranty.

A remanufacture extends the life of your drive even further. Your unit is completely restored to like new condition. It’s tested to the original factory specifications and comes back to you with a two-year factory warranty.

Of course, maybe it’s time for a new Indramat drive. We also offer replacement Indramat drives, motors, and controls.
