HDS04.2 drives are Diax04 drives, the last series of drives made under the Indramat brand name, although still available with the new Rexroth logo. The HDS04.2 drives were the upper middleweight drives of the Diax04 series, able to put out 200 amps and running a variety of motors, linear slides and effectors. Used in printing, roll forming, food processing and Robotics, we see these drives coming through all the time. They were the second most popular of the Diax04 drive series and a tough, capable drive.
Trouble with your HDS04.2 drive?
The Diax04 line of drives had the most extensive error code list of any of the drives that Indramat made, and the drives can typically be troubleshot over the phone, we need to know first off what code is showing on the two digit display. Repair vs Exchange on HDS04.2s
While we are happy to provide our customers with a replacement Indramat HDS drive, repairing your current unit is often the most economical option. Both Indramat factory repair and Indramat REMAN are performed by trained technicians who specialize in Indramat motion control systems.
Indramat factory repair remedies the problem with your drive and provides your unit with a one-year factory warranty. We offer factory repair services with a 24-hour turnaround.
Indramat REMAN restores your drive to like new condition and provides your unit with a two-year factory warranty. However, if you can’t wait for Repair or REMAN we have units on the shelf for immediate shipment in our Exchange program. These are drives that have already been through the REMAN process and can ship the day of your order. We even have charter flights available for when minutes count.
