MKD025 servo motors are designed for use in a wide range of applications, including printing and packaging, paper processing, food processing, packaging, and machine tools. MKD servos come in a wide range of sizes. MKD025 is one of the smallest of the range.
There are A and B versions, the difference in the two being the length. MKD025B is available with two windings codes: 058 and 144. MKD025A is available only in the 144 version.
The shaft is available with (G) or without (P) a key. The G or P in the code is followed by either a 0, signalling that there is no holding brake, or a 1 if there is a holding brake.
These variations determine the type code for your MKD025 servo. Check the name plate on the unit for the full type codeThe output direction on MKD025 motors can be chosen when mounting the power connector. The flange sockets can be turned manually up to 270 degrees. However, since this results in a reduction in holding torque, this should be done no more than five times. Record these actions — MKD motors last a long time. We’ve seen these motors in service for so long that nobody on the floor remembers when they were put in place.
MKD025 motors are available in models that are suited to explosive environments. However, the maximum appropriate ambient temperature is 100 degrees Fahrenheit and the maximum altitude is 1000 meters (3280 feet) above mean sea level.
When your MKD025 servo motor needs service or repair, we make it easy for you. Call (479) 422-0390 and tell us the specific code for your servo. We’ll provide an emergency replacement unit while your MKD025 is being repaired or remanufactured.
